The new Call of Duty season is always about multiplayer and Battle Royale, but this doesn’t mean that the DMZ is overlooked. The mode has been criticized for not being able to store armor plates, self-revives, and more within lockers. Season 3 adds some great features to the mode that have been requested in some form for a long time.
COD DMZ Season 3 – All New Features Listed
The main focus of the DMZ in COD Warzone 2 Season 3 is systems that allow for a greater level of customization. This means workbenches that provide tools to alter Contraband, pseudo-locker slots, and a buy station trader. All of these work in tandem to make the mode more comprehensive. All of these are described here.
DMZ Season 3 Features:
Barter System – The Barter System in these stations allows players to trade the items they have for new equipment beyond using cash like previously. Stock up on items and save them so you can sell them or trade them at these new Buy Stations.
Workbench – Workbenches can be found on many Buy Stations on the map now, allowing DMZ players to modify contraband weapons and swap out some of their existing attachments.
Active Duty Operator Slots – Players can save armor vests, self-revives, and more with specific Operators. To save that equipment, just switch to another Active Operator with fewer items.
New Faction, Bosses, and Equipment – DMZ players can expect some new content when Season 3 launches. Two new bosses, a new backpack, new plate carriers, and a new faction will be available.
In Season 3, you can also expect resets to the missions and mission progress for Factions within DMZ mode. That means more objectives to accomplish along with the fresh features, and possibly some new rewards.
