Tears of the Kingdom quickly depletes your stamina by climbing and running. You’ll probably run out of Stamina during your exploration of Hyrule even though Link can eventually increase it by progressing through the various Shrines scattered throughout the game.
Don’t worry about restoring stamina with items. You will need stamina elixirs in the long run, so start storing them up. Craft some using a Cooking Pot for longer adventures.
How to Craft Energizing Elixirs in Tears of the Kingdom
A Restless Cricket or an Energetic Rhino Beetle can be combined with any monster drop to make an Energizing Elixir. The more monster parts you add to the mix, the more effective your elixir will be.
Since you probably have lots of Chuchu Jellies early on, you can use them as monster parts, but any regular drop from monsters you’ve killed recently will do.
It is usually best to look for crickets beneath rocks when hunting for them, so don’t leave anything unturned. Alternatively, you can start cutting tall grass patches with a sword or any horizontal-slash weapon to see if any of them pop up. Keep a close eye on them otherwise they’ll disappear!
In addition to being harder to come by, energetic rhino beetles are also needed for other tasks, so you might want to avoid wasting them on elixirs.
