Since Baldur’s Gate 3 has been in early access for a long time, there may be some known bugs, bug fixes, and issues that players may encounter. Some of these bugs are minor and do not significantly impact gameplay, while others can cause the game to crash or become unplayable.
- Crashing – We’re Going Down!
Various reasons may cause a game to crash, including hardware incompatibility, driver issues, or bugs in the game code. Memory, CPU, and GPU issues may also cause the game to crash. - Saving – Who Needs to Save Anyway!
There is a possibility that save games can become corrupted, preventing players from loading their progress or autosaving. - Uncompleted Quests – Come Back!
Some quests may not complete properly, preventing players from progressing. - Stuck Characters – Hey, I Just Had Dinner!
Characters can become stuck in some areas, preventing them from moving or interacting with their surroundings. - Disappearing items – Don’t Loot at Me!
Players’ inventories may disappear, which can be frustrating and time-consuming to replace. - Ahh, the Non-User Interface
In some cases, the user interface may not function correctly, making it difficult to navigate or use certain features. In certain modes, corpses and textures may artifact and break the visibility of options. Cinematics and Dialogue may crash and become “not found” due to these issues, as well as lighting issues, black screen issues, and rare crashes of the full game.
