A mod that uses DLSS 3 Frame Generation, which doubles frame rates in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, has been released. Did EA finally fix the game? No – this is just how the mod works.
It has been a while since we announced the creation of the mod JediSurvivorUpscaler for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. The mod’s author – a web user nicknamed PureDark – decided to share alpha versions with his patrons (people who make a monthly donation of $5) so as to give people a taste of this modification.
A Twitter user with the nickname Mutahar (@OrdinaryGamers) presented this mod as a form of testing, to find bugs and improve performance. However, it is already working – it is very good at doing so. With just one click, he doubled Star Wars Jedi: Survivor’s frame rate.
DLSS Frame Generation enabled the game to run at 90 frames per second. “Finally, it’s playable,” Mutahar exclaimed. DLSS 3 Frame Generation only supports Nvidia GeForce RTX 40-series GPUs that are based on the Ada Lovelace architecture.
