Gunstar Heroes was developed by a team of Konami staff members who formed their own studio in 1992 under the name Treasures. Gunstar Heroes was Treasure’s first video game released for the Sega Genesis console in 1993. It was Treasure’s first video game.
Gunstar Heroes: Story
The Gunstars are expected to fight enemies with guns while executing a series of acrobatic maneuvers throughout the levels of the game in order to prevent an evil empire from capturing four powerful gems. Gunstars is the name given to the characters in this game. There are four weapons in the game that can be combined to create a variety of different kinds of shots. In order to play the game, players must be able to use different types of shots.
