There are two ways to change your difficulty in Diablo 4:
- Change your World Tier through the Character Select Screen
- Visit a World Tier statue ingame
- While going to the character select menu lets you change your difficulty quickly and easily, you can also go to a statue if you’re already in the game and don’t want to leave.
Locate the World Tier Statues in Diablo 4
When you reach level five, you’ll find your first World Tier statue near the Waypoint teleporter in Kyovashad. It appears as a large gold-filled structure. You can interact with it to view the available difficulty levels.f you’re looking for a more casual playthrough, it’s worth sticking to Adventurer or Veteran.
Change Difficulty from the Character Menu in Diablo 4
Change your difficulty by selecting “Change World Tier” in your character selection menu. By doing so, you’ll see the same world tier options as ingame, and can select a different difficulty.
