Fisherman Trophy/Achievement in Layers of Fear Explained
Between chapters, you can explore your cabin, which is the hub of the game, where you can peruse the collectibles you discover and discover secrets. It is necessary to “spot something through the spyglass” in order to earn the Fisherman trophy/achievement. Although this trophy is related to fishing, it does not require bait or fishing poles.

- Head upstairs using the same staircase you used to reach the film projector room that you need to begin new chapters in order to find the spyglass.
- As soon as you reach the top of the stairs, turn right and you’ll see a window with a spyglass instead of heading left to see the projector room.
- If you click on the spyglass, you will be able to peer into the ocean. It might be sunny or stormy depending on where you are in the story, but you can earn this achievement between chapters 2 and 5.
