How to Disable Controlled Folder Access
- In Windows, go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Security > Virus & threat protection.
- Under Virus & threat protection settings, select Manage settings.
- Choose Manage Controlled Folders.
- The Controlled folder access setting should be toggled off.
