In Hogwarts Legacy, potions are a great way to gain an advantage in combat, but they aren’t always easy to obtain by themselves. Occasionally, players will be able to make potions by brewing them. However, they will need ingredients like Fluxweed Stem to do so.
If you wish to craft the Focus Potion and Felix Felicis in Hogwarts Legacy, you will need Fluxweed Stems on hand. Unfortunately, you cannot pick the stems like you would other materials. However, we’ve got you covered, so you still have the option of finding the stems yourself.

Hogwarts Legacy – Where to Get Fluxweed Stem
Before you brew your potions, you can obtain the stems using two different methods. The first method is to just buy Fluxweed Stems, which is much easier. Although the purchase of Fluxweed Stems in Hogwarts Legacy is easy to access and can save time, it is also much more expensive. Fluxweed Stems cost 150 Galleons each.
When you have unlocked the Room of Requirement with Professor Weasley, you can also grow these stems on your own. You will need schematics from Tome and Scrolls in Hogsmeade to conjure the Potting Table once it is unlocked. To access all seed options in the game, you will also need a Large Pot conjured on the table.

The Magic Neep in Hogsmeade also offers Fluxweed Stems for 350 Galleons as a one-time purchase. Use this to keep growing all the stem ingredients you need and make full use of Focus Potions for combat in Hogwarts Legacy. I promise, it’s a much better use of your Galleons than constantly buying fresh ingredients.
