A new series of articles on how to play retro games within the boundaries of the law has begun here at Legally Retro. We’ll discuss clone consoles, buying original consoles, and other legal ways to play retro games. Today, we’re going to look at Atari home gaming consoles. The Video Computer System (VCS) was the first Atari console, later named the 2600, which was followed by the Atari SuperSystem, the 5200, the 7800, the Lynx handheld, and the Jaguar. There were also several models of home computing from them, but we won’t get into those now.
