In 2018, Starfield was announced, and on September 6, 2023 (presumably), we will finally be able to play it (as the community has dubbed it, probably as a joke, but mostly because everyone expects Starfield to become the next big Bethesda franchise). Now you can gather with the PC gang (including myself) and check out the Minimum and Recommended PC System Requirements for Starfield to see if your PC is capable of running the game.

Minimum System Requirements for Starfield on PC
Starfield’s official System Requirements delighted me when I opened them, and hopefully, they will do the same for you.
- Operating System (OS): Windows 10 version 22H2 (10.0.19045)
- Processor (CPU): AMD Ryzen 5 2600X, Intel Core i7-6800K
- Memory (RAM): 16 GB RAM
- Graphics (GPU): AMD Radeon RX 5700, NVIDIA GeForce 1070 Ti
- DirectX: Version 12
- Network: Broadband Internet connection
- Storage: 125 GB available space
- Additional Notes: SSD Required
It is close to meeting the Minimum System Requirements on my PC (who was also best friends with T-Rex ages ago).

Recommended System Requirements for Starfield on PC
Also, PC specs aren’t drastic. Let’s face it, I need to upgrade to match this, but GeForce already has the 30 and 40 series out there (GeForce 30 was released in January 2022), and below you will see that RTX 2080 is the recommended GPU for playing Starfield on PC. I hope the optimization goes well!
