I’m a pico-8 enjoyer. But now i officially starts the path of create games on pico-8
I read the “game dev for pico 8” magazine, and a lot of bbs forum threats for doing my first game. https://www.lexaloffle.com/bbs/?pid=136248#p
Today I find myself wondering about making a new game based on the rotation of a “center piece” in a growing “tetris-like” stack. (Like in tetris ds, the gamemode metroid-themed)
I merely made the game desing on my head, and play around with this democard https://mykie-frankenstein.itch.io/pico-8-rotate
But my principal concern is: How can I structure the whole stack?
Some ideas I have:
maybe i need a list of lists, with every piece of the stack, and the position and relation between the others ( I want to make it like connect-4) a loop that updates all the positions and relationships between the pieces, whenever the stack is moved left, right, up, down or rotate it.
Im a bit of clueless on this aproach and i can not figure out how to express those ideas on code.
Any help is welcomed.
