Let’s talk about the main dish first while serving others after.
Game Modes: Overwatch 2 provides 4 different game modes including Unranked or Quick Play, Competitive, Arcade, and Custom Game.

When you click on the Unranked Mode, you are welcomed with 4 different options: Quick Play Role Queue, Quick Play Open Queue, Mystery Heroes, and Death Match.

As I said in the beginning, this game has 3 classes for heroes: Tank, Damage, and Support. So in Role play mode, you have to specify your main role before the game starts, and is unchangeable throughout the game. In this, you can only select heroes from that specific role and not from any other role, but, here is a catch. Role queue has also an all-role option where you can change your hero in all roles

In Open Queue, you may choose any hero from any role, as simple as this.

5vs5, Mystery Hero: As the name suggests, the hero will be random.
Death Match: Mini game where the first one to earn 20 kills wins.
Let’s head back to the main menu…
Let’s talk about your cool part which is heroes.
Overwatch 2 offers 37 different heroes from 3 different roles. Each with unique abilities and skills. You can unlock more and more heroes as you level up by playing more.

I will come with a video about them in detail soon, so stay tuned for that.
As a beginner, I liked to use Widowmaker, DVA, Roadhog, and Moira.
The main menu also includes options for social features, such as Friends and Groups, where you can add and communicate with other players.

Here you may see your friends and here you can set your status for the game, whether you are online, busy, away, or appear offline.
You can also see the recent players list whom you have played with in previous matches.

As every game offers cool, fancy skins for guns and heroes, Overwatch 2 took it to another level with its unique designs and skin collection. You may see bundles and individual skins for heroes and guns.

Battle Pass is also a good to go package for cool skins, effects, and badges.
This gives a wide range of various stuff.
Overwatch 2 Settings
Additionally, there are options for the game’s settings, where you can adjust audio, video, and control settings to your preference.

For the game settings, I recommend not changing anything since the default settings work out pretty fine.
Once you join a game, the interface changes to display information relevant to the game mode you are playing. For example, in Quick Play, you will see a list of available heroes to choose from, while in Competitive Play, you will see your team’s rank and progress.
During game play, the interface is minimalistic, with key information such as your health, ammo, and ultimate charge displayed on the screen. The game also features an intuitive heads-up display (HUD) that shows your team’s objectives and the location of key objectives on the map.

Last but not least, we have daily, weekly, and more challenges. It also has a hero level status which is useful to track your hero leveling.
Conclusion
Overall, the interface of Overwatch 2 is designed to be easy to use and visually appealing, while providing all the necessary information for players to engage in the game. Overwatch 2 will likely continue to build on this foundation and incorporate new features and improvements to the interface. I can assure you that you will not be disappointed in playing this game.
