In Elden Ring, there are status effect weapons. These effects will buff (i.e., boost) that weapon’s abilities. I refer to them as afflictions because when the weapon is used against an enemy, that enemy will become afflicted by the status effect. For example, striking an enemy with a weapon that has the Bleed status effect, will cause the target enemy extreme blood loss.

In this article we will discuss each of the six Status Effects and the weapons that have those effects by default. Meaning that when you acquire the weapon, it is already imbued with the Status Effect, and you only need to use the weapon on an enemy for it to take effect.

Elden Ring Weapons with Bleed
