Dragonflight Mythic+ season is a new one for World of Warcraft, but season-exclusive affixes have been removed from the game as of patch 10.1. Affixes are simply enemy buffs or mechanics introduced in Mythic+ Keystones. As the Keystone gets higher, the more affixes stack up.
In Season 1, Thundering required players of oppositely charged polarities to group up in order to clear a devastating stunning debuff. This affix was exclusive to Season 1 and the idea was that each season we’d get a new “seasonal affix” to contend with – but Season 2 lacks any such system. However, a new affix has taken the place of this missing system. We’ll take a closer look at all of the affixes this season.

Removed Affixes: Explosive, Quaking, and Grievous have been removed from the game entirely. If you don’t know what these are, don’t sweat it! You won’t see them at all.

New Affixes
An Afflicted Soul may sometimes appear during combat. This ghost will cast an uninterruptible spell called Afflicted Cry that reduces everyone’s Speed by 100% for 10 seconds. There are two ways to get rid of these spirits before they get cast off: either dispel them with any ability that removes curses, poison, or disease, or heal them.
