There have only been a few weeks since Starfield came out, and already one player has developed a complete map of every planet in the game.
Starfield’s planets are easily one of its biggest selling points. More than a thousand in fact, a pretty ridiculous number, and one that very quickly made me think, “Yeah, I’m probably going to visit 30 of them, maybe.” Other people, however, have much greater ambitions than I do, and by a bit, I mean a lot, as Reddit user DoomZero revealed last week that they had actually surveyed 1694 planets. The only reason that a couple of planets are not fully surveyed is a bug, which essentially means we’ve surveyed every planet in the game.
It’s a surprising accomplishment, especially given that they shared in the comments that of their 200 hours of playtime, 180 of those were spent just surveying planets, which is much longer than I expected. DoomZero discussed how they achieved this feat, as well as why they began the quest in the first place, in an interview with IGN. After I started playing and learned about surveying and fully surveying planets, the idea just kind of stuck in my head. “I’m a bit of a completionist and thought it’d be cool.”
