The technical condition and optimized performance on Switch make Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom an excellent game in almost all respects.
A few days have passed since The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom was released, and it is safe to say that everyone is raving about it. This game has received excellent reviews, fans are queuing up for a boxed copy – all of which contribute to its position as a strong contender for game of the year.

As the launch frenzy unfolded, another question was raised: how will Tears of Kingdom run on its dedicated platforms?
It certainly strains the Nintendo Switch’s components to handle such a large open world without a loading screen (supposed to be the future of the series, according to Eiji Aonuma). After all, the console isn’t very good at doing heavy lifting. The sequel to Breath of the Wild, however, also passes the test in this area (at least most of the time).
